Radio Photography?
A tip of the hat (with a nod to Colbert) to Poynter Online's Al Tompkins for an excellent article on how NPR's Howard Berkes is using still photographs on the Web to enhance his reporting. I wouldn't be surprised if this article becomes mandatory reading for students in journalism programs across the English-speaking world (and with online translation programs, perhaps across the rest, as well).

"A tip of the hat" is a compliment, not a criticism.
When I suggest that the article would become mandatory J-School reading, that's also a compliment.
