Welcome to my occasional ruminations on digital media and its use in journalism and education.

Why "Digital Ed?" Double-entendere. The site is a place for discussion of digital education and my SL avatar's name is Ed. That's it.

Distance Learning & Christians - one odd story

Here's one of those rare times when I'm simply going to keep my mouth closed and let the quote do the talking:

ChristiaNet.com (http://www.christianet.com), the world's largest Christian portal with twelve million monthly page loads, asked readers to comment on the recent survey question, "Are online degrees popular among Christians?" The majority of the participants were unsure about acquiring a degree online. Believers may be uniformed about distance learning programs, since so many answered the poll with uncertainty.

Significance? I don't know. Perhaps none. But I did think the PRWeb story was ... interesting.

Happy reading.
