What to Wear in SL?

Let me begin by writing, "I have no idea."

OK - that's done and anyone who knows me is happier for it.

Backhanded reference to my RL fashion sense aside, one of the listservs I belong to has asked what teacher/professor types can/should/so wear around students - and I'm answering with what I'm (Ahem! "What my avatar is") wearing for public functions these days when a tux is not called for.

Here's the basic setup:

• Face lamp (It brightens the face and nearby things)


• Anim Outfitters: L.E. AO, Male, Confident (an animation override)


• Brown-green (mostly green) eyes (tinted and highlighted by me)


• Cody Shape


• Exotica X2 Skin


• FNKY! Smooth Criminal Jacket (pinstriped) - tinted (by me) mustard or a smoky blue


• Black tux pants - generic


• Pointy Dress Shoe - pelle di coccodrillo (black) - black laceup shoes


• FNKY! Shirt/Tie (Dark/Light) - a black shirt w/tie - tie tinted (by me) light blue


• FNKY! Agent Glasses - Brown metal framed glasses w/80% transparent lenses - from the same shop as the suit


• Hair ... ETD Sleek - Brunette

That's it. I'm off.
